Streams of Pollen

This song can mean many things to different people. Also, I like that what it means to me changes each time I hear it. Not feeling free while in love—a lesson I thought I had already learned.  Scary thinking it can happen behind my back… and I might be the cause. 

Last night, I thought about Blink 182 and the song “Don’t Leave Me.”

“Don’t leave me all alone

Just drop me off at home

I’ll be fine, it’s not the first

Just like last time, but a little worse.”

p.s. it’s not cool that Jonsi wears head dresses. He’s an extremely talented man, but no chief by far—Respect indigenous cultures.
