Streams of Pollen

Lately, I’ve been working on having more patience. In years before, being quick on my feet and making immediate choices moved me along to places that brought excitement and adventure. It’s been two years since I decided I had to tackle staying put with a new job in LA. This was difficult, because I had only stayed in a job for a year at the most. But now that I’ve achieved all I wanted, I’ve realized I’m ready for more. Even if it’s scary to step up, I will find a way. And it’s difficult to stay motivated when I don’t see immediate results. However, ’ve equipped myself with valuable tools and need to begin putting them to use. I speak so generally about the things I want. But inside of my mind and heart, I know exactly where I should be. I was once told that I was a bright and shining person, and needed to be careful along my journey ahead. So I keep my dreams safe and share bits and pieces of myself with those that I cherish. And I try not to feel guilty for holding back. There are parts of who I am that I hold sacred. And it is only opened for those that need healing. That keeps me resilient. I’m taking steps in my journey. One that is mine.
